Tweed River Festival Paddle Challenge - 24th October 2009

This is one of the Juniors largest fundraisers for the season and we really need people to help cook, serve and assist with water safety. It's a 6am start for set up with competition starting at 9am QLD time. Remember, all volunteers will be awarded points towards the Age Group Volunteer Award.

Head Coach, Chris Wood has been encouraging children to compete or just come along and support their fellow team-mates.

Family Fun Day - 18th October 2009

Sunday 18th October is Family Fun Day. As there is NO NIPPERS on this day due to the running of the Coolangatta Gold, we are running this early season social event instead.

The fun starts at 12.30pm in the park beside the Club. BYO chairs, drinks, salad & rolls. The Junior club will provide the mear, chicken, tents and BBQ.

For new members, this is an excellent opportunity to mix and get to know other club members.

What to bring:

• Copy of Birth certificate or Proof af age required for first time members
• Goggles, swimwear & towel
• $2 Pool Entry per swimmer

Things you should know:

• At least one parent must join as a financial member of the North Burleigh SLSC
• Sign on & Pool Proficiency will be completed on the day
• Junior Swimwear available to purchase on the day
• Payment Methods: Cash, Cheque or Credit Card
