Surf Life Saving is an amazing activity for growing a child's confidence, knowledge and skills in the beach environment. Not only will your child have fun and meet new friends, they will become part of an iconic organisation that has served the Australian community for over 100 years.

THINGS TO KNOW- Copy of Birth Certificate required for first time members
- At least one parent must join as a financial member
- Sign-On and Pool Proficiency will be completed on the day (see below for age relevant requirements)
- Remember to bring goggles, swimwear & towel
- Junior Swimwear available to purchase on the day
- Payment can be made by cash, cheque or credit card
POOL SWIM PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTSAges Under 6's to 14'sUnder 6's - Kick off the Wall with face in water and 30 sec survival float
Under 7's - Torpedo (push off wall) with face in the water and 30 sec survival float
Under 8's - 50m swim freestyle and 1 min survival float
Under 9's - 50m swim freestyle and 1 min survival float
Under 10's - 100m swim freestyle and 1.5 min survival float
Under 11's - 100m swim freestyle and 2 min survival float
Under 12's - 200m swim freestyle and 2 min survival float
Under 13's - 300m swim freestyle and 3 min survival float
Under 14's - 400m swim freestyle under 9 mins and 3 min survival float
